Summer’s Officially Started on Coronado

It’s the Summer Solstice! Cloudy skies are set to clear and Coronado streets bask in the bright rays of the sun. This weekend on Coronado, the Library’s summer festival continues on Saturday, June 22, with a free concert featuring San Diego natives (and rising stars) Berkley Hart, who will charm you with original country music tunes; chill out and enjoy on the library lawn and BYOB - bring your own blanket! 

Also happening on Saturday is the 7^th annual Baja Bash at the Coronado Yacht Club, right down the street from Glorietta Bay Inn. The event is open to the public and features local chef’s sustainable seafood cuisine, a silent auction of unique items, and live musical entertainment. All proceeds go to protecting the fragile wild life and coastal ecosystems that must be preserved.
